All our production processes, from raw material selection to packaging, are centered around respect for the environment and people.
At Christou1910, circular economy is at the core of our philosophy. Thanks to the 100% natural cyclodextrin technology we developed in collaboration with the National Technical University of Athens for odor control, we reduce the need for frequent washing of our athletic footwear, saving precious water and energy.
Our insoles, made from natural materials and recycled raw materials, ensure that every shoe leaves the smallest possible environmental footprint. We design with the goal of waste reduction, reusing materials and minimizing CO₂ emissions,
Sustainable Production
The production process of our products is based on the use of natural materials, avoiding chemicals and high temperatures, thus reducing energy consumption and environmental pollution.
Specifically, for the Days Fresh aromatic insoles series, unlike other companies that use toxic metals, we choose the natural Cyclodextrin-B technology.
Natural Materials
At Christou1910, quality and sustainability go hand in hand.
From eco-friendly polyurethane foam (Oxinlite) in DAYS insoles, to 100% certified organic essential oils from Mediterranean biodiversity in reusable foot care aids and DAYS Fresh insoles, to natural latex enriched with botanical molecular complexes and OEKO TEX 100 certified textile yarns, selecting natural ingredients for our products is our priority.
Upcycled Packaging
Recognizing our responsibility as a company, we started changing our packaging from plastic to green recyclable Polyethylene (PE) from sugarcane back in 2020. Today, all our packaging comes from environmentally friendly materials and is fully recyclable.
Next Steps
In the next steps, we will focus on integrating recyclable materials from microplastics into our production. With this initiative, we aim to reduce environmental impact and enhance the quality of our products.
