Did you know that:

• From just the first trimester of pregnancy, pressure in the main artery that carries blood to the heart increases, and towards the end of pregnancy, pressure can be increased up to 2 to 3 times above normal levels. For this reason, the legs, which now carry the weight of two people, experience this feeling of congestion and swelling, making our movements a little more difficult.
• 30% of women in their first pregnancy and 55% of women who have had two or more pregnancies develop varicose veins.
