The value of movement in our lives
"There is no better feeling than when you have found that moment of balance and harmony, where running and life go hand in hand. Then you know why you run and that you could not live without it." The Olympic gold medalist Joan Benoit, in the first historic marathon as an Olympic sport for women in 1984, paralleled movement with life in a powerful statement, as an interconnected concept.
In our daily lives, movement can range from a sudden dash to catch the morning bus to a joyful chase with our children, from a long walk in the park with our dog to our daily running workout. Movement in all its forms encompasses every small and big moment of our lives.
As we all seek an antidote to stress and anxiety, we are increasingly choosing exercise as a form of psychotherapy. The most flexible form of exercise, which does not require a specific place and time, is running. Running functions as a personal challenge, a confrontation with your strengths, filling you with different images depending on the environment you choose each time, conquering small battles with yourself and your endurance, and thus leading to the healthiest addiction!
It is no coincidence, then, that, according to Runner's World magazine, beyond athletes and amateur running enthusiasts, the new generation of CEOs, wanting to act as a model of balanced life and well-being, characterizes running as "a cornerstone for success in all areas of life." Dynamism, stress management, and mental clarity, integral qualities for such a role, "lead to exercise and especially to running."
In general, then, we observe a cultural shift, even among busy executives, towards intensive forms of exercise, such as running, cycling, and triathlon, as quite simply "if you don't have a strong body, you can't have a strong mind and it is required to function at the highest level of both intelligence and emotional intelligence."
There are many opportunities for exercise! From the new trend of ballet workout and barre exercises with pointe, to knock-out crossfit training or the favorite obsession of corporate teams and special leagues for football and basketball, such as the Business Champions League, the corporate football championship! Whatever its form, whether mild or more challenging, exercise is a very personal restart. As your heart rate rises and your body fills with hormones that increase positive mood, you put wings on your body and soul, feeling the most constructive effort.
The strain on our extremities
But what happens when our feet are strained and hold us back? No matter how proud we are of our sculpted legs, the result of months and... hardcore training, we cannot avoid some side effects, hidden inside our shoes!
Our motivation for exercise does not need to be limited by physical difficulties, such as calluses on our toes and bad odor from fungi. Caring for our body and feet is considered the new facial care, acting as another mirror of our health. Our toes are... Survivors of continuous training, friction, and injuries! That's why it's worth incorporating a suitable product for our feet into the training ritual, finding the right balance between well-being and survival from technical difficulties!
We already know that
athletic graduated compression socks, for both amateurs and athletes, are essential for recovery from injuries and improving muscle endurance. However, a product for the care of calluses on our toes, stressed by continuous training, is equally essential. Following a holistic healthy lifestyle model, it is beneficial to choose natural products for our body care as well.
Protective tube for calluses with organic essential oils
A suitable product to care for our "crushed" toes can only be an organic callus patch. For this reason,
Christou 1910, drawing on the beneficial properties of nature and medical-grade essential oils, recommended by clinical aromatherapy, created the
protective tube for calluses with organic essential oils, a 12-centimeter polymer gel. The tube, which can be cut to the length required for our toes, softly embraces the injured areas like a ring, without ever coming off, leaving them exposed. At the same time, the therapeutic mixture of aromatic essential oil molecules is released in just 2 minutes from the moment we put it on, immediately soothing the stressed toes, hydrating and relieving the compressed area from pain and calluses. Unlike adhesive and other patches with chemical composition, the tube does not violently detach from the foot, creating additional discomfort and problems from its abrupt removal.

Each essential oil chosen for the therapeutic mixture in the
protective tube for calluses works complementarily, systematically eliminating the presence of unwanted calluses with its regular use. Balm, as its name suggests, soothes, regenerates, and heals the skin. Lavender and maritime pine relax the muscles, offering a unique aroma along with white and green clay that removes skin toxins. Peppermint acts as a strong immediate-acting analgesic, while rosemary-camphor removes local inflammation. Juniper, in turn, stimulates circulation, improving the condition of the foot day by day and making
callus relief... a reality!
The feeling of exercising and experiencing that freedom of body movement is incomparable. However, it is equally important to feel this freedom from the mind to... the feet! No matter how many kilometers we run, how many distances we cover, how many times we fall and get back up, we can be... Survivors without the collateral damage of our injured feet.
That's why we believe you can endure a few extra kilometers to your nearest supermarket
(see the list here) at the Christou1910 health corner stand, in the cosmetics department, and get the most beneficial shield for your toes!
