A little note to ourselves
For last year's words belong to last year's language. And next year's words await another voice.
Every new year follows the previous one, bringing with it many expectations. This time we will do better. Everything will go more smoothly!
In this new 365-day chapter, all of us want to find more quality time for ourselves and our loved ones.
Some say it's better to keep your resolutions, the well-known personal commitments, secret, to yourself. And when you see progress coming, after real effort and without the procrastination familiar to all of us, then yes, congratulate yourself loudly because you tried and finally succeeded!
This small note is a reminder not to be so hard on ourselves. To take care of ourselves a little more. Even a lot! Because as cliché as it may sound, it's the only one we have!
That's why we should incorporate into our culture, which assimilates everything so quickly and bypasses it, that our body and pain are two concepts that are more intricately connected than we imagine. Beyond simple action-reaction, our organism and body respond differently and always depending on the psychological background and social tensions they face at any given moment.
All of us can become vulnerable. But with proper care, we can unleash the power hidden in our body and move forward.
Above all, what is offered to us is the opportunity. The opportunity to try again and again. All of us have our own rhythm in life, our own driving force, our own personal will. Sooner or later, we will all get where we want to be!
For the new year, we wish you to reintroduce yourself to your body and treat it with more care and respect. Because it's good to test our limits, but it's equally important to listen to that little bell that sometimes rings to wake us up!
